Project management and scheduling techniques mean a great help in supporting the successful implementation, time and budget planning, monitoring and technical review of construction projects.

Those participating in the course may get basic knowledge of and practice in the modern time organizational, scheduling and network planning techniques, and the possibilities of using CPM and PDM. Thus, they will be able to chose and apply the most suitable planning method in their everyday work.

The aim of the course is that participants learn to easily deal with the time, resource and cost data of the projects they are responsible for applying the ProjectDirector scheduling, network planning and project management software.

The course material facilitates that relevant information of the projects becomes clear and available at any time and provision of data required by the investor becomes manageable. In case of disputes it may serve as a reference to the constructor as well.

Project Controlling

As a result of today’s economic crisis the financing of projects is severely restricted, thus it has become crucial that the project controlling approach appears in project management.

During the course participants may encounter the theory and practice of the “project controlling cycle” and thus they will be able to overview and manage their projects. We introduce a new dimension in project controlling through case studies, placing the emphasis on professionalism and technicality.

Basic accountancy for engineers

These days, construction industry companies are increasingly becoming aware that with severely restricted financing and as a result of increasingly sharp competition, the cost monitoring of projects has attained an exceptionally important factor of the success and the scheduling of projects. In our experience, it is essential that project managers are up-to date on the basics of financial management and some concepts in accounting.

During the course we focus on those financial and accounting concepts and practice that are essential to manage projects and business successfully.

Coaching

Project Control Expert Kft offers personalized coaching for clients already using our project management system or having already taken one of our courses. By choosing this opportunity participants may deepen their knowledge in the area of project controlling, scheduling techniques, economics or using any of our project management systems.

During the coaching sessions our partners’ individual needs – concerning the topic, the schedule or the duration – can be taken into consideration. Coaching can even be given while working on an own, real project. It can be held in our training room or at our client’s place. In this case a mobile training room is at our disposal. (We can provide laptops and projectors as well.)
